Introduction
Objectivos
O mestrado tem como objectivos principais dar uma formação complementar e especializada nos domínios da economia internacional (teórica e aplicada, real e monetária) e proporcionar o estudo das características e tendências actuais dos processos de globalização e de integração económica, privilegiando uma abordagem multidisciplinar, económica, política, jurídica e institucional da integração europeia e das suas questões actuais.

Organization
The master's degree is organized into four semesters, totaling 120 credits. The first three semesters are fully filled with the curricular component in a total of 78 credits, aiming to endow the student with the instrumental, interpersonal and systemic skills related to training in international economics and European studies. The fourth and last semester is dedicated to the elaboration of the final master's work (TFM) – dissertation, project work or internship – in a total of 42 credits (of which 12 credits are obtained in the 3rd semester).

The Master's is essentially intended to complete the first cycle training, for all those interested in acquiring specialized and professional skills in the fields of international economics and the European economy and institutions; in particular, it is aimed at those interested in a career in community and international institutions, in diplomatic services, in international business or in specialized journalism, in teaching activities and scientific research, as well as for staff in companies or other public and private institutions with advanced training needs in the area.
