Within the framework of the strategic objectives of the ISCSP -UTL regarding the training offer of the II Cycle and following the objectives outlined in terms of policy for higher education under the terms of the Bologna Process, the following objectives were defined:

As with the degree in Political Science, this objective corresponds to the core configuration of the Bologna Process, when it elects the transition from a teaching paradigm based on the transmission of knowledge to a paradigm based on the acquisition of skills which, in the case of the II Cycle, must be reinforced in order to ensure that the student acquires a specialization of an academic nature (Article 18 of Decree-Law No. 74/2006).

This objective presided over the elaboration of the new study plan, since its structure privileges the deepening of competences that consolidate the training profiles of an instrumental nature and, above all, of a specific nature.
