Introduction
It is intended with this training that the future Master in Pre-School Education develops, not only a set of specific skills that allows him to directly intervene with children in the functions of planning, planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching-learning process, as well as broader competencies that enhance active participation in institutional life, for example, in school management and in the relationship with the various socio-educational actors. The objectives of this cycle of studies are: to develop fundamental skills for intervention in educational contexts in terms of pre-school education; to develop skills oriented to the analysis of complex educational situations and to research in education; promote the construction of these fundamental competencies in a strong articulation between theory and practice, from a professional perspective; promote the development of means of reflection, responsibility, specialization (expertise) and professional ethics within the scope of teaching practice; develop skills in the context of active participation in school institutions, namely with regard to school management. Several learning objectives (knowledge, skills, and competencies) to be developed by students in this course were also established:
To know the teaching-learning processes and the various contexts in which they develop; apply knowledge in the context of child development in the various educational contexts; apply knowledge in the planning and evaluation of pedagogical practice; mobilize knowledge in the field of design and management of educational projects and apply it in the institutions where it develops its practice; mobilize knowledge and skills to promote the development of children in the sphere of oral and written language, knowledge of the world, expressions and mathematical language; create learning situations that encourage the observation, exploration and manipulation of different materials according to the interests of the children and respecting the integration of the curriculum; develop various methodologies taking into account the contents worked on, the characteristics of the group and the interests and needs of children; plan and intervene intentionally taking into account the global development of children and a strong articulation with theoretical knowledge.
