Introduction

This Master's degree aims to qualify and specialize in Superior Occupational Safety Technicians, within the framework of the performance of management and/or direction functions in public or private entities. The training provided is advanced and transversal to the activity related to Safety and Health at Work, and aims at complementary and comprehensive knowledge and management skills, with a view to optimizing operational performance in the business environment, without neglecting the necessary research and development aspect.

Security, as an objective to be pursued, is a global, systemic and dynamic process. Addressing Security effectively and efficiently means managing it. The Safety Management process is essential to obtain practical results to minimize risk. The Masters in Management of OHS aims to provide trainees with skills to manage, guide, and coordinate actions of high responsibility in the national economic fabric, to develop studies, projects, and scientific research in this area, producing knowledge regarding the theoretical and conceptual training of basis, either with regard to the connection with current practical cases and with the experience of the problems they will experience as professionals, offering a global and comprehensive view of OSH themes, trends, and evolution,
