Introduction
Bridging the gap between data and discovery
To better understand and improve life, students in the master’s degree program at the Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing at IUPUI learn to analyze biological data and apply the analytical skills and those analyses to pioneering research and industry challenges.
You’ll use computational tools and develop applications that bridge the gap between data and discovery—in areas such as natural water resources research and genome biology.
Biomedical science: where biology, technology meet
Our Bioinformatics degree programs put you in the heart of Indiana’s bioscience and health care campus, where you’ll work with faculty who encourage your discoveries and your best path to bioinformatics jobs.
Giving data new life
Learn to translate and transform biological data into life-enhancing discoveries when you earn a graduate degree in bioinformatics through the Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing at IUPUI.
Deepen your knowledge of computational biology and develop skills that apply to creating new cancer therapies, designing medical devices, making research breakthroughs about the human genome, and helping food crops thrive.
Bridging the gap between science and industry, you can take biological data to places it’s never been, using technology to increase our understanding of life and how to improve it.
