Introduction

Innovative tools that integrate Architecture, Urban Planning, and Design methodologies are necessary to foster "Placemaking" processes, which are essential for generating welcoming and functional collective spaces that facilitate urban regeneration.

The two-year Master of Arts in Design for Public Spaces - Placemaking and Urban Regeneration trains professionals capable of managing the activation and regeneration of collective spaces, from conception to realization, while understanding the socio-cultural dynamics of urban spaces.

Throughout the course, students will acquire design skills to enhance public spaces, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and social impact. Upon completion of the program, they will possess a solid understanding of urban planning and design, innovative design capabilities, and an autonomous approach to learning, enabling them to successfully navigate continuously evolving professional scenarios.

The Course is subject to authorisation by MUR for A.Y. 2024/25
