Understand and investigate the innovation drivers of today’s society and transform them into a trend-forecasting strategy. The Master's Program in Fashion Trend Forecasting combines research and practice to simulate the realities of the fashion industry through a project-based approach.
Students will analyze the market and study the most important trend-forecasting processes through relevant case histories and workshops. The IED Master's Program in Fashion Trend Forecasting is founded on a theoretical-cultural approach that integrates qualitative and quantitative research techniques, allowing students to deepen their understanding of the fashion industry, its links to related creative fields, market demand, and consumption habits.
Students will learn to effectively express their ideas and communicate their research findings, creating convincing and visually compelling presentations capable of directing important business decisions in a sector with increasingly complex dynamics.
The course’s final project will see students developing a professional trend book for a real partner company using their acquired analytical and perceptual skills to satisfy the assigned brief.
