ONIRIS is a higher education and research institution of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries.

Anchored in its territory and open to the European area, it has a very broad thematic range including animal health and public health, clinical, biomedical and health biotechnology fields, food sciences and Process Engineering.

ONIRIS aims to be a player in the fields of animal and human health, by actively contributing to the “one medicine, one health” concept, and food. In addition to these two main themes, there is a contribution to a cross-cutting theme concerning the environment and sustainable development.
