He has called this period such as the Information Society, whose characteristics are closely linked to the processing, storage, dissemination, and access to information developed in our environment.
This situation has generated the need for expertise in areas related to information technology, including the designer responsible for managing the data displayed in the privileged world of www. The professional field is one of the most demanded today and is the one that develops more rapidly in the field of digital technologies. Requesting for it, a professional profile that dominates the interface design and programming of websites.
For the above ICONOS (Research Institute for Communication and Culture) offers a specialty in Design and Management of Web Sites,in order to train specialists in the information processing oriented network. A professional defendant which may be placed in any professional who needs to process your information.
This specialty curriculum studied 9 subjects a year and required to attend one day a week classes because we care that our students keep working, so they can put into practice the knowledge acquired in this postgraduate.
General Objective
To train specialists to design, manage and evaluate projects professional Web pages and sites, supported by the dominance of digital technologies and programming languages.
Particular Objectives
--Distinguishing the theoretical and practical aspects of the architecture of Web pages and sites for their design, management, and projection.
-- Discriminating the various processes of preproduction, production, and postproduction of Web sites for the development of development budgets.
-- Select the programming languages' own Web sites, to organize and present digital information on the www.
-- Implement management processes and production of websites, using standards of programming, database and interface design, navigation, and query for relevant information.
-- To investigate the scope of digital media located in the www, for communication purposes in the field of commerce, education, politics, among other possibilities.
-- Assess the structure and patterning of Web sites, to solve existing problems in previously designed.
-- Document the production of websites from ethical formulations to support the social development of the professional field and its surroundings of incidence.
-- Justify multidisciplinary working groups for the development of complex Web sites.
Student Profile
Graduates with degrees in Communication or similar names, Graphic Design or similar names, marketing, computer systems or similar names. Also in systems engineering or similar names. Other degrees and engineering can enter as long as they justify their relationship to the content of the curriculum of the specialty. It must demonstrate a preparatory course for those coming from other fields of study.
Outcome Profile
The student will gain knowledge about managing digital tools suitable for Website development, from programming standards, style sheets, databases, interface design and considering the possibilities of static or dynamic sites.
Also on the theories of digital information related to the production of websites and on the social and cultural influence exerted by the www today.
Develop skills to choose processes and tools that help Web site design, diagnose Website problems through applied research. Also to work in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teams.
A generous attitude of responsibility and commitment to producing websites. Identification and understanding of users and the social context in which they operate and which will direct your pages and Web sites. Leadership in order to target development projects Web projects.
Entry Requirements
-- Submit an application for membership in the specialty.
-- Title of degree (original and copy).
-- Professional Card or proof of process (original and copy).
-- Certificate of studies to substantiate that have been covered 100% of the credits of the degree (original and copy).
-- Birth certificate (original and copy).
-- An average minimum of 8.0 in undergraduate studies. Failure to have this average, it may review the case through the Technical Council Scholar.
-- 6 passport-size photographs black and white.
-- Curriculum vitae with documents attesting.
-- Letter explanatory why you want to enter the specialty.
-- Interview with the coordinator of the specialty.
-- Letter of recommendation from school, or academic supervisor.
Foreign students should submit all documents validated by the SEP, duly translated and legalized by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Consul of Mexico in the country where the studies, and immigration document.
