Ibn Haldun University aims to stand out as a "research university" in Turkey and in the world with the quality of education it provides and the research projects it conducts. Ibn Haldun University (IHU) is a foundation university founded by TÜRGEV. It was opened in 2015 and started education in the 2017-2018 Academic Year.

The languages of instruction at IHU are Turkish, Arabic, and English. In addition, Western languages such as German, Spanish, Russian, and French, as well as Eastern languages such as Chinese and Malay are taught as electives.
