Introduction

Today, embedded systems are everywhere (IoT, automotive, buildings, health devices, control systems) and their safety and security are major concerns for our societies. Because of the existence of new attacks, more and more risks are related to using these smart or connected systems in critical applications. Thus, the IMESS Master focuses on the design of safe and secure embedded systems. Due to the multidisciplinary nature of safety and security domains, and as embedded systems are based on both hardware and software parts, the IMESS program offers both design and embedded programming skills to the students: design, verification, test, dependability, security of System-on-Chip, and computing systems.
