Introduction
Robinson’s M.S. in Finance is a forward-looking program focusing on corporate finance, financial data analytics and fintech.
Through an innovative STEM-designated program, you will gain in-depth knowledge in corporate finance, valuation, and investment banking with fintech applications. You’ll also have the option to earn a fintech certificate with studio innovation experience.
Tackle Experiential Assignments
As part of Robinson’s FinTech Lab, you will collaborate with faculty and corporate partners to find solutions to complex problems using data analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and blockchain tools.
Examples of past experiential projects include:
- Corporate lending: issue and maintain syndicated loans involving multiple banks on a blockchain
- Crowd financing: raise and manage funds for startups through a blockchain
- Prediction in financial markets: apply A.I. and machine learning tools to model and predict asset values and returns
- Unstructured data in business: use machine learning to understand unstructured data such as texts and images, and help with business and investment decisions
- Peer-to-peer insurance: build decentralized insurance solutions based on smart contracts
- Real estate transactions: streamline various steps of real estate transactions on a blockchain
- Digital assets: explore ownership, monetization, and transfer of assets on blockchains
Through our Bloomberg Service Terminals, you will monitor and analyze real-time financial market data. Through the Wharton Data Research Services database, you will access comprehensive data from public companies.
