Postgraduate Program in Communication

The UFJF Postgraduate Program in Communication focuses on “Communication and Society” and is structured around two lines of research: “Media Competence, Aesthetics and Temporality” and “Media and Social Processes”. Authorized by Capes in 2006, PPGCOM started its teaching activities in March 2007. The purpose of the research and studies developed is to combine reflective and intervention perspectives in the field of Communication at the regional, national, and international levels, based on the continuous interaction between theory and practice, since we understand that scientific practice is inserted in society.
