Climate change, depleting environmental resources, and social changes are creating unprecedented challenges for societies. In the face of these challenges, both private and public organizations are compelled to engage in more sustainable practices that preserve the resources for the next generations. This program offers a comprehensive set of skills that will allow you to take on these challenges through the design and implementation of sustainable policies, and the assessment of their impact. The impact assessment content of the program anticipates future trends of new norms requiring the monitoring and assessment of policy impact.
Optional IBSA dual Masters
You also have the opportunity to apply for the International Business School Alliance (IBSA) dual Masters track.In the space of just one year you’ll obtain two Master&rsquo's degrees whilst developing expert skills and knowledge in your chosen area of specialization and building up an international network of contacts. Both semesters are taught in English allowing you to develop your proficiency in the language of the host countries whilst improving your cross-cultural skills. Program Outcome
The program lasts between 12 and 18 months and includes:
- 450 hours of on-site teaching in Paris
- 2 semesters totalling 60 ECTS
- International students have the option of either doing a mission for a company during the 2 semesters or doing an internship or a mission for a company after the 2 semesters. In both cases, the length of the mission or the internship will be between 4-6 months. In addition, a thesis will be required for graduation. These modules total 30 ECTS.

At the same time, the severe shortage of skills in sustainability means that over 80% of companies expect difficulties in recruiting qualified candidates in the future. Course Structure
The program lasts 12 months and includes:
- 450 hours of on-site teaching - 2 semesters in Paris totaling 60 ECTS
- You will undertake a professional placement lasting 4 to 6 months as well as researching and completing a Master's dissertation (30 ECTS).
A 6-month internship is also possible in any country.

International Business School Alliance (IBSA) dual Masters Programme
The International Business School Alliance (IBSA) dual Masters Programme option is an exciting opportunity to study at two internationally renowned institutions in different countries.
- An MSc in International and Sustainable Management from ESSCA School of Management, France.
- Another specialist Master’s degree from a choice of 5 partner university members of the Alliance in Spain, Germany, Russia, the UK, or the USA.
If you opt for the IBSA dual Masters track, in the space of just one year you’ll study for two Master’s degree qualifications whilst developing expert skills and knowledge in your chosen area of specialization and building up an international network of contacts. ESSCA’s goal is to recognize and recruit the most talented individuals wherever they may be, regardless of their background or financial situation. We acknowledge that the choice to study abroad is not only an academic decision but also a financial one. Unlike some other business schools, where international students pay much higher tuition than domestic students, there is no difference between tuition for French and international students at ESSCA.
