To apply for ESRA , ISTS, ESRA Animation at ESRA Paris and ESRA Côte d'Azur, registration for the competition is done in 3 steps:

To apply for DHEC, or for ESRA Bretagne and ESRA Brussels, registration for the competition is done in 4 steps:

Complete the application form found at the end of the downloaded brochure.

Choose your competition date from the dates offered on our site for each section.

Send your complete file, at the latest 10 days before the date of the selected test to the Competition Service of the chosen campus.

Admissions Option 2

ESRA offers different mechanisms to assist you with financing:

CROUS scholarships based on social criteria for the Paris and Nice campuses. The application must be completed directly on https://www.messervices.etudiant.gouv.fr/vole.

School scholarships awarded based on results, attendance, parents' situation and after examination of a file

Student loans in partnership with BNP (Avenue Félix Faure) to obtain loans at a preferential rate (the contact details of these banks are available from the school on 01 44 25 25 25)

ESRA is a French Film School, created in 1972, it is the only private school entitled by the French government to issue and deliver a State degree (French bachelor). ESRA mixes theoretical and practical instruction equally in a program that proved its efficiency throughout the years. 6000 alumni are now working in the field of Cinema and Television. Since 2007, ESRA has been offering its graduate students an optional fourth year of studies in New York City, during which they take a 12-week program and shoot a short movie, in collaboration with a New York partner school. Our summer programs offer eligible students from all over the world the opportunity to engage in challenging academic work in the company of peers who share their exceptional abilities and love of learning. All faculty at ESRA are recognized teachers and working professionals. Our focus is on rigorous academics and learning but also on the social experience that results from bringing international students together.
