Campus Features
The hub of Erasmus University Rotterdam is our Woudestein campus, a convenient 15-minute bike ride from Rotterdam’s city center, including the sleek new Rotterdam Centraal train station (where you can also catch the tram or metro to EUR.) Outside of class time, students study in the light-filled new Polak building or at our state-of-the-art university library, grab a coffee at the Erasmus Food Plaza, or attend an event at the theatre or Café in de Smitse. The on-campus sports center offers fitness, dance, spinning, squash, and tennis among many other classes.
Accessibility on campus
Erasmus University Rotterdam values an accessible campus and buildings for everyone. In 2022, the Executive Board approved the 'Physical Accessibility Action Plan' and allocated extra funds to improve the accessibility of the campus step by step. So far, a building consultant has been hired and several adjustments have already been made, such as the redesign of MIVA toilets. A new design for the campus grounds has been created as well and will be implemented in 2024.
