Introduction
All courses are taught in English, so proficiency in English is required. Two of the Partners are engineering Universities (PL and IT), which is important for the program goals towards excellence in nano-engineering innovation. The third partner (FR) has a strong chemical nano-science profile which will allows us to teach our students the chemical fundamentals during the first semester in Marseille. The complementarity among the three partners plays a key role in coherence of the joint program: (you find the description of courses here constantly being updated).
The first year of studies (Marseille : September - January ;Wroclaw : February - June) is common for all students. The First semester of the second year (Rome : October - January) allows the students to choose between two options: experimantal one and numerical one.
The Master thesis research project (30 ects, Marseille, Wroclaw, Rome or one of the Partner Institution ; February - August) is intended to bring the student in close contact with a multinational and multidisciplinary research environment of a research institute in academia or in industry. The student can choose among the list of proposed relevant research project and work in close collaboration with other researchers. The research project is finalized with a public presentation of a Master’s Thesis in Marseille in September. The Master Thesis project is evaluated by an external international jury.
