MSc in Human Resource Management

Introduction

Who is eligible?

To apply for this programme you must have:

An honours grade 1 degree (or international equivalent) in a Business discipline

OR

An honours grade 1 honours degree (or international equivalent) in a non-Business discipline

OR

Professional qualifications in Human Resource Management coupled with significant relevant professional experience.

Programme Content

Modules on the MSc in Human Resource Management include:

• International HRM

The programme employs lectures, case studies, seminars, projects and presentations. There is a strong focus on leadership and personal and career development within the programme, as well as an emphasis on teamworking, communication skills, problem-solving, and the application of theory to the practice of HRM and industrial relations. Assessment is based on assignments and end of semester examinations.

Structure

The MSc in Human Resource Management is designed to be completed in one calendar year of full-time study. It consists of two (full-time) taught semesters, followed by a practical project, completed between May and early September.

The next intake for this programme will be September 2017.
