Introduction

Particular interests of the supervisors within the center include, but are not limited to:

  • Water and sanitation (WASH) in Low-Income Countries
  • Nature Based Solutions for water resources and water treatment
  • Integrated catchment management and modelling
  • Agricultural water resource management
  • Irrigation and drainage
  • Climate change impacts, vulnerability, and adaptation
  • Advanced sensors for water quality, wastewater-based epidemiology, and point-of-care diagnosis
  • Environmental biotechnology
  • Environmental pollution, water-soil-waste system modeling, and remediation risk management

Supervisors: At Cranfield, we place great importance on supervision and the relationship a student has with his or her supervisor. The relationship is intended to be a stimulating and fruitful partnership, in which the supervisor provides guidance on the nature of research and the standards expected, and the student develops as a competent researcher, fully utilizing the wide range of resources available.
