Its roughly 22,500 students and four campuses in three cities make Cologne University of Applied Sciences (CUAS) the largest of its kind in Germany. However, size is not the only factor that distinguishes CUAS from most other German universities of applied sciences: Academic diversity, broad research activities, and an international focus are our strong suit. Cologne University of Applied Sciences considers itself a modern type of higher-education institution, as it is capable of supporting doctoral studies in stellar programs. At the same time, we place a strong emphasis on practical experience for our students in all disciplines.
