Collegium Verum is a private, professional university operating since 2001 (until February 2020 under the name of the Academy of Family Alliance in Warsaw). The founder of the university is the Association of Family Alliance, which has the status of a non-profit organization. During our activity, we obtained permits from the minister responsible for higher education to conduct first-cycle studies in the following fields: IT, Polish philology, History, Geography, Tourism and recreation, Public health, Pedagogy. We have obtained positive assessments of the quality of education by the Polish Accreditation Committee in the fields of: Geography (2007, 2013), Polish Philology (2007).
The small size of education allows us to have an individual approach to each student, direct contact with lecturers and university authorities, avoiding many pathologies of large universities, and the highest care for the quality of education. In line with our mission, we base our actions on the realistic foundation of the philosophy of Christian personalism. From March 2020, by the decision of HE Cardinal Kazimierz Nycz, Metropolitan Archbishop of Warsaw Collegium Verum may use the term "Catholic University".
