Introduction

The postgraduate course is aimed at training linguists with a broad domain of the discipline, capable of researching, teaching, and intervening in the design of projects and public policies aimed at the knowledge and development of Indo-American languages. The graduate will have a deep knowledge of Linguistics and a specialization in any of the areas offered by the program: Acquisition and socialization of language; Sociolinguistics; Anthropological Linguistics, and the documentation of Amerindian languages ​​in some of its sub-disciplines. In addition, by having solid training in the various problems that concern indigenous languages, the professional will be able to work in teaching and research, both in the public or private sector or work on the design of language policies.
