Introduction
This Control and Robotics - Data Science, Signal and Image Processing (DASSIP) program provides the necessary skills in signal modeling, image processing, and machine learning, relevant to the theory and the practice of data analysis and information retrieval, for the development of modern numerical methods.
Courses address the theory and the practice of advanced data analysis techniques, from computational statistics, applied mathematics, scientific computing, and numerical imaging, to their practical implementation in several fields such as biomedical engineering, imaging science, audio processing, and information technology.
The key feature of the program is the design of mathematical solutions, for signal and image processing problems, accounting for the physical specificities of this data and adapting the numerical implementation of these solutions to the application context, the data amount, and the available computational resources.
The program of study lasts two academic years - denoted by M1 and M2 and is taught in English. It comprises three study semesters followed by a paid Master's thesis/internship in the final semester.
Our Master's programs in Control and Robotics are fully accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
Students applying for this Control and Robotics program can also apply to join the Integrated Master-PhD track, which brings together the two years of the Master's degree and three years of PhD studies. The Integrated Master-PhD track is designed to give high-potential students exposure to research activities as soon as they join the M1 year.
