Introduction
The Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Cazenovia College is committed to preparing students to become informed and ethical practitioners, well equipped with mental health counselling tools in individual, family, and group settings. Courses include human growth and development, counselling theories, group dynamics, cultural foundations, assessment and appraisal, couples and families, substance abuse, clinical instruction, and internships. The program is structured to allow students to complete 60 credit hours of course work within two years.
