The program is organized in a common core in the 1st semester. In the 2nd semester, the student can choose the Generic Area or one of the 3 specific fields of management available.
The program is offered daytime (classes normally from Monday to Friday, from 10 to 13, and, eventually, on Saturdays morning, also from 10 to 13), and evening (classes from Monday to Friday, from 19:00 to 22:00, and eventually, on Saturdays from 10 to 13); in Portuguese and in English, according to the information of the next table. The choice among the four possibilities available should be made when students enroll.
This 2nd semester is offered in English and Portuguese and during the daytime or evening according to the following table:

Lectures of the Masters of the Católica Porto Business School take place at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto.
Applications
Students who want to apply for the Masters in Management must indicate in order of preference (1-4) the specialization areas they prefer:

- Business Analytics
- Management control
- Service Management
This information is merely an indication. The functioning of areas of expertise (Business Analytics, Management Control, and Service Management) is subject to a minimum number of students. The areas have different requirements for the admission of students. So, the Management area is generally considered students with diverse basic training. In the areas of Business Analytics, Services Management and Management Control preference will be given to students with basic training in economics or management, or other courses that show strong analytical training.
The choice of specialization area will be carried out during the first semester.

Career Impact
Students of the MSc in Management have been achieving placement in major national and international organizations, but also in small companies, typical of the northern Portugal industry. This placement, broad in scope, can now be enhanced by the various specializations offered in the MSc.
Service Management promotes career opportunities in classical organizations providing services as well as in industrial companies with relevant service components.
Specialization in Business Analytics promotes career opportunities for emerging functions of 'business analyst' or 'data scientist', which have been the subject of growing demand.
Specialization in Management Control promotes career opportunities in prominent positions in the planning process, monitoring, and strategy implementation (for example, controller or financial management).

The Masters in Management will work with a daytime group and a post-work regime one, in Portuguese and in English, according to the following table:

The classes are from Monday to Friday and Saturday morning.
The daytime regime will work preferably in the morning and the post-work regime will work from 19:00 to 22:00.
Attendance Regimes
The Masters at the Católica Porto Business School has a single, but flexible attendance regime. The curriculum is designed so that the program has a minimum of three semesters (one year and a half). However, for students who wish to obtain a Masters degree while maintaining their professional activity, you can perform the Masters within a maximum of 5 semesters (two and a half years), which allows you to distribute the academic load over an extended thus conciliating the schedules and professional load with the Masters. The beginning and end of semesters are published annually in the academic calendar of the 2nd cycle of the Católica Porto Business School (see Academic Calendar).

Scholarships and Funding
Merit Scholarships
The Board of the Católica Porto Business School decided to create a set of Scholarships for the purpose of rewarding the merit of the students whose academic performance deserves it. These consist of total exemption from tuition fees up to a maximum of 36 ECTS per semester and also from the enrolment and tuition fees.
The merit scholarships can be renewed each semester. The eligibility criteria for the award of scholarship in the 2nd and 3rd-semester master are:
- Completion of a minimum of 30 ECTS per semester with no failures in the normal or resit assessment period.
- A weighted average of the marks obtained in all the subjects concluded in the previous semester to the award of the scholarship equal to or greater than 16.0 values.
