Introduction
The Master's program is an academic program that is focused on students acquiring knowledge and skills that allow them to address conflicts and propose solutions to communicational problems within an institution, especially those complexities related to social change and development. analyzing in depth the dynamics of communication from a scientific methodology, which will allow the student to generate basic research that seeks to promote new ways of thinking and problem-solving in the area.
The Master in Communication and Social Change from its curricular scope emphasizes the areas of strategic communication, social change and development; technologies and society and media, and particular studies of the student's profession, allowing them to design research projects in the area of communication for change and society, in order to contribute significantly, from the condition of experts to knowledge and reflection of contemporary socio-communicative phenomena.
The program lasts two years during which the student will receive the necessary academic tools to investigate, analyze and criticize social reality, linking their findings with various public-private organizations. These instruments will allow you to apply the research methodology to problems in the field of communication for social change.
In the Master, the student will be able to participate continuously by providing feedback aimed at improving their experience as a student. In addition, the student, in parallel to the basic curricular structure, may opt for optional curricular activities, according to their own interests and needs, designing their own academic training itinerary, so the plan will be periodically updated, integrating the complex changes that occur in the different dimensions of communicative social reality.
