The Department of Languages, Cultures & Applied Linguistics at Carnegie Mellon University features award-winning teachers and internationally recognized researchers. Our research and teaching promotes language learning, deepens cultural understanding through literary and cultural studies, and highlights cutting-edge technology-enhanced learning.
