Today, as much as ever before, the church needs dedicated men to work in the Kingdom. As the world’s population grows to nearly 7 billion souls, the need to sow the seed of the Gospel in the hearts of men has never been greater.
Even within the Brotherhood, congregations are leaving the pattern of sound words contained in the Scriptures in hopes of attracting larger crowds and pleasing more members. This sophisticated approach, by necessity, takes the emphasis off of God, our Creator, and puts greater trust in man’s ability to give people what they want. But what man wants will not save him. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death” (Proverbs 14:12). The problem is growing, and the threat is real.
