Introduction
The Master's degree project in Geomatics Applied to Environmental Risk Management was developed within the framework of Ordinance No. 010-06 UADER, Resolution ME 160-11, and Ordinance 056-10 of the CONEAU. Said Master's project has among its objectives, to train professionals with a solid knowledge of geomatic tools applied to environmental risk management, within a framework of sustainability and therefore strengthening decision-making capacities. The proposal is the result of the joint work and contributions of members of the Regional Geomatics Center (CeReGeo - FCyT - UADER), together with representatives of the CICyTTP-CONICET and the Postgraduate Area of the University's SCyT, and emerges as an emerging series of research, teaching, postgraduate and service activities, which were generated in the scope of our study house from 2007 onwards.
The Master's Degree project, with a professional profile, conforms to the institutional vision of UADER and will provide an innovative academic offer for professionals in the region and the country. It represents a valuable contribution from our academic community for providing a postgraduate training offer in such a relevant subject and without a similar offer in the field of the corresponding CPRES.
