The creation of the Autonomous University of Entre Ríos (UADER) in 2000, arose as a response to the challenges that challenge the social, economic, political, and cultural life of the Entre Ríos community. The need to find new horizons for various problems, mobilized the will of the Provincial State and the Municipal States, and of some civil society organizations linked to production and education, to build and project an institutional space with democratic support to implement new educational policies. Through the Law of Creation of the UADER No. 9250 - sanctioned on June 8, 2000 - the transfer of more than twenty Higher Institutes, Higher Education Institutes, Middle and Higher Level Schools, Higher Schools, Higher Schools, and other institutions were ordered. to form the Academic Structure of the nascent University, initially with 5 Faculties and which since 2004 comprises 4: - Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (FHAyCS) - Science and Technology (FCyT) - Management Sciences (FCG) - Life and Health Sciences (FCVyS) The transfer included the teaching and administrative staff, as well as the budgetary resources, resulting in a heterogeneous composition of the nascent University, with its own recognized and differentiated identities, which led to support and resistance in the face of this new scenario of a dispute of academic interests. in the provincial territory.
