Develop management skills in our intimate, international learning environment
The degree has been designed to meet the needs of recent graduates interested in a management-oriented career or early to mid-career professionals looking to transition to a management-related field or the next level of management. If you wish to transition from a liberal arts or humanities background to a business or management focus you will also find the program ideal.
The program features core and elective courses, allowing students to focus on various fields of practice, including general management, sustainable development, or NGO and mission-based management.
Complement core requirements in leadership, strategy, finance, ethics and operations with the opportunity to delve further into potential areas of interest such as managing global communications, economics, negotiation, and international relations.
Successful project managers possess the skills necessary to manage their teams, schedules, risks, and resources to produce a desired outcome. Students will learn the skills and tools of project management by using both practical “hands-on” approaches as well as by applying theory to practice. This course guides students through many of the fundamental operations and project management tools and behavioral skills required in both private sector organizations as well as with NGOs and governmental organizations.
Three practice-focused approaches to meet your specific needs and interests
The program is built on three core forms of business approaches: dominant contemporary management theory and practices, sustainable development, and mission-based management. Required and elective courses in the program offer course materials and case studies relevant to these approaches. The three areas of concentration are:
