Introduction

The Master prepares competent professionals in the areas of administration, design and evaluation of programs and services offered within this field in the public and private sectors. Its curricular content delves into the study and analysis of aspects related to the prevention, security and investigation of crime and delinquency. Our goal is for the graduate of this Master to be an agent of change in Puerto Rican society.

It has a highly competent faculty made up of judges, prosecutors, criminal lawyers, and other prominent professionals in the field of criminal justice and other related areas.

The program is aimed at:

Examine the criminal problem from different perspectives Train the student in the design, implementation and evaluation of prevention, intervention and rehabilitation programs Refine the skills of investigation and use of technologies with applications to the field of criminal justice Develop in the student the skills of decision making decisions and effective leadership in the administration and supervision of the criminal justice system.
