American Technological University (Universidad Tecnológica Americana (UTECA))
Introduction
The American Technological University, today UTECA, is an institution of the superior type founded in 1971, a year from which it imparts with official validity of the Secretariat of Public Education, studies of the superior type, to which it has incorporated a diverse educational offer of baccalaureate, degrees, specialties, and masters.
In order to ensure its quality processes and have a link with the rest of the private institutions of the higher type, UTECA, is affiliated to the Federation of Private Mexican Institutions of Higher Education (FIMPES) which is a group of Mexican institutions individuals, whose purpose is to improve communication and collaboration between them and with other educational institutions in the country.
In the same way, it has its affiliation to the Association of Responsible for School and Student Services (ARSEE), whose objective is to contribute to improving the quality of higher education institutions and higher education through its areas of School Services.
In December 2016, UTECA University was acquired by the MVS Capital group, a group made up of a conglomerate of companies with more than 40 years of experience whose vision is to create solid companies that improve people's quality of life and strengthen the economy of Mexico, in order to strengthen the academic programs of the UTECA.
This synergy makes the link between the productive sector and the universities a reality, creating dynamic professional profiles in line with the needs of companies.
