Introduction
Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University will turn Turkestan into a common educational center of the Turkic world.
Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University was established based on the Intergovernmental Agreement between Kazakhstan and Turkey to prepare modern, highly qualified specialists from the youth of Turkic-speaking countries and is located in the spiritual center of the Turkic world - Turkestan.
Educational activities at all levels are based on 153 educational programs in nine areas of education:
Pedagogical sciences;
Art and Humanities;
Social Sciences, Journalism and Information;
Business, Management, and Law;
Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Statistics;
Information and Communication Technologies;
Engineering, Manufacturing and Construction industries;
Healthcare and Social Security (medicine).
The university has ten faculties, a Higher School of Public Administration and Economics, a professional college, five research institutes, three dissertation councils for four educational programs of doctoral studies, more than 10 thousand students, interns, undergraduates, residents, and doctoral students, as well as students of the preparatory faculty from 19 Turkic-speaking countries of the near and far abroad are trained at the university.
