Introduction
At present, a myriad of demands and expectations weigh on professionals who work in educational contexts, practicing teachers, and in the training process, most of them aimed at responding in the short term to the challenges of the globalized world and the knowledge society, in a context that is also characterized by the diversity of students as a result of the massification of education and the great efforts of the State to expand access, coverage, and permanence of students. The increases in coverage can be seen in the statistics, which show us important increases semester by semester; However, changes in pedagogical practices, in the professional competencies of people who work in the Education Sector, are a fundamental element for the transformation of student learning.
Precisely because of the above, the processes aimed at the training of professionals whose field of action corresponds to the educational field should be strengthened, as is the case of pedagogues, graduates, educational psychologists among many others, where their preparation must be articulated with the new realities social, technological, cultural, etc., as well as the variability within the population groups found in preschool, basic and secondary education, higher education, among others.
In this way, FUNDES proposes the Specialization program in Psychoeducational Evaluation and Intervention, in order to train professionals who are aware of the educational problems of our country and are ethically responsible in researching and applying the knowledge of psychology and education for the study, evaluation, prevention and treatment of situations in the educational context; thus generating a positive social impact.
