Coordinating University:University of Santiago de CompostelagoalsThe fundamental objectives of the Master are: to offer the pedagogical and didactic training required by current regulations, and to meet the essential requirement for entry into the Bodies of Teachers authorized in Spain for the teaching of future teachers of Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, Training Professional and Language Teaching.

Plan, develop and evaluate the teaching and learning process promoting educational processes that facilitate the acquisition of the competencies of the respective teachings, taking into account the level and previous training of the students, as well as their orientation, both individually and in collaboration with other teachers and professionals at the center.

After many years of demanding that the initial training of secondary school teachers have adequate academic consideration, current regulations have included it in the highest level university training, postgraduate training (ORGANIC LAW 2/2006, of May 3, of Education (BOE nº 106 of May 4) Articles 94 and 100), (ROYAL DECREE 1393/2007, of October 29 (BOE nº 260 of October 30), by which the organization of university education officers).
Similarly, the LOE establishes that in order to teach in the different teachings regulated by this Law, it will be necessary to be in possession of the corresponding academic qualifications and that the initial training of teachers will be adapted to the degree and postgraduate system of the European Education Area. The Master's degree that enables the exercise of teaching as Professor of Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, Professional Training and Language Teaching is a specific requirement for entry into the Corps of Secondary Education Teachers, Technical Professors of Vocational Training, Music Teachers and Performing Arts, Plastic Arts and Design Teachers, Plastic Arts and Design Workshop Teachers and Official Language School Teachers.
It is, therefore, the responsibility of the University of Santiago de Compostela to organize this master's degree to respond to this need and carry out adequate planning that allows meeting the scientific and professional requirements of society and also, and not least, for graduates and graduates of our university and the rest of the Autonomous Community of Galicia.

In this sense, this Curriculum proposal contemplates that said teaching specializations are adjusted as much as possible to the specialties of the respective teaching bodies, in order to guarantee students a quality, specific and relevant training for the exercise of the profession. Teacher.
