Knowledge and research of an environment that especially affects and conditions the circumstances of life and behavior of people in society and the role and actions of institutions is becoming increasingly important in our society.
The University Master's Degree in Environment: Human and Socioeconomic Dimensions is preferably academic and investigative, and a strategic approach of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), as well as a social demand for specialized graduates in the environment, from the perspective of the social sciences.
The relevance of the specialization of university students in environmental issues, considered this from the different perspective of the social sciences, is widely recognized. The orientation of the Master is adapted to the most modern field of application of these sciences, that is, to the adequate planning and management of environmental issues, characterized by the greater relevance of global environmental problems and by new research topics in the field. .

Title issued by an institution of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and empowering in the country of issue for access to Master's education.
Title of educational systems outside the EHEA that empowers in the country of issuance for access to Master's education, homologated or declared equivalent to the degree and academic level of Degree or Degree by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training . In case of lacking the mentioned homologation or equivalency, it will be necessary to have authorization or access permission granted by this University.
