About

The Master in Literary Studies (60 ECTS) allows a theoretical vision of literary phenomena, as well as the analysis and research of the different European literatures from a comparative point of view. This profile is demanded by the Spanish university, but also by foreign universities that demand doctors with a high degree of specialization and scientific training, especially dedicated to the literary phenomenon.

The proposed Master encompasses the main branches of research in comparative European literature and literature theory, as well as its synchronous and diachronic relationship with the plastic arts, music and cinema. Due to its strong theoretical and methodological orientation, it can adequately serve its objective of high specialization in Literary Studies.

  • The relationship of Literature with other arts and disciplines.
  • The currents and trends that make up its international identity.
  • Authors who have set a common canon.

  • The relationship that the European system maintains with the Anglo-American and Latin American.
