The leading professional educational program of higher education "Instrument making, standardization, metrology, and information-measuring devices and systems" in the direction of training "Standardization and metrology" (master's level), is a complex of essential characteristics of education (volume, content, planned results), organizational and pedagogical conditions, forms of certification, which is presented in the form of a curriculum, a calendar training schedule, work programs of disciplines (modules), practice programs, assessment tools, and teaching materials.

The purpose of the educational program:
the formation of students' general cultural, general professional, and professional competencies that allow the graduate to successfully carry out their professional activities in the field of standardization and metrology, taking into account the requirements of the regional labour market, the ability to adapt in a professional environment, the need for self-education and professional development.
Objectives of the educational program:
to provide the graduate with the knowledge and practical skills to improve metrological support, quality management systems, standardization, and conformity assessment activities;
ensure the formation of competencies to ensure the effectiveness of metrological assurance and measurements, reliability and safety at all stages of the product life cycle, to develop regulatory documents for standardization, metrology, and quality management;
development of skills in research activities in metrological analysis of production processes, development of methods and techniques for conducting experiments and tests, and application of problem-oriented analysis methods using modern research technologies.
When carrying out educational activities on this master's program, RGRTU provides:
implementation of disciplines through training sessions (including ongoing monitoring of progress) and intermediate attestation of students;
practical training (including continuous monitoring of progress and intermediate certification of students);
state final certification of students.
