This training allows students to acquire a culture of scientific research, in particular on criteria of precision and depth of analysis, with an emphasis on research. Students learn to master the investigative tools specific to design and borrowed from the human and social sciences, then the designer's modes of creation, expression, representation and communication.
This training aims to be generalist and covers all fields of design: product design, space design, service design, interaction design, social innovation design, science-design interface, etc.

Acquire the practical and theoretical knowledge of a current and stabilized state of the discipline: exercise of the project, topicality of the design, history and historiography of the field, writing skills assuming a form of criticism of the project, formatting, expression and communication of the project , as well as training in specific, even rhetorical, teaching practices in the field.
