The programme aims to provide students with a good background in physics and mathematics enabling them to describe several engineering problems by means of mathematical models, as well as a good knowledge of control and automation systems. This knowledge concerns process and plant aspects, as well as processing IT architecture (hardware and software); measuring systems; signal transmission systems and implementation components. Overall, the course prepares professionals specialised in the Design, implementation, management and running of systems and infrastructures for representing and processing information, with special focus on industrial automation applications.
