Program Outcome
The Master's Degree in Advanced Architecture, Landscape, Urban Planning and Design aims, based on the basic principles of sustainability and efficient project management, to train highly qualified professionals with specialized skills in one of the following four lines.
The Urban Planning, Territory and Landscape line addresses topics of specialization in urban planning, general and territorial planning, urban, urbanization and landscape projects, from a sensitivity that incorporates respect for heritage and the environment. These fields represent a high percentage of the professional practice of architects, engineers and technical graduates in general.
The Sustainable Architecture and Habitat line focuses on the study of the opportunities offered by the in-depth analysis of proposals focused on the concept of sustainability. In particular, it is about managing aspects of architecture and urban space, especially from recycling, reuse and sustainability. To do this, the scales of the master plan, community building projects, housing, public spaces and construction management are successively addressed.
The Interior Architecture and Microarchitecture Design line addresses the study of the themes associated with interior architecture, both in the development of the elements that make up the immediate habitat, and in the definition of the spaces that constitute the environment where the events take place. social exchanges. It ranges from microarchitecture to ephemeral architecture, passing through spaces for restoration and leisure, health and sports, culture and art; from branding to working with trades, from the design of furniture and product elements to lighting and set design studies. Along these lines, in addition to the technical and conceptual knowledge that must provide the rigor required in this type of interventions, the most common administrative processes and representation techniques in this exciting scale of work will also be addressed.
In the line of Advanced Technology in Architecture and Urban Planning, training in technological aspects associated with the materialization of architectural and urban planning works is completed. It develops technological innovation in facilities and construction in the field of sustainability and energy efficiency, both in building and urban planning. Industrialized construction techniques and systems, energy management, security systems and telecommunications are analyzed.
This Master's Degree, given that it is taught at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, addresses with special interest the specific problems that arise in these subjects in the Valencian Community.
