MSc International Business: Accounting and Control (part time)

Accountancy and Controlling is a two year part-time specialization in size. You will acquire knowledge of the major international accounting and management control principles. Accounting is the backbone of any business, without it profit, personnel and products simply do not exist. Financial data must be collected, interpreted and checked to business decisions to be taken. If you opt for Accounting and Controlling, you can go in different positions in the financial world, as financial advisor, accountant, controller, and many others.

What will you learn?

During the program you will examine the five major areas within accounting and management control: financial accounting, management accounting, management and internal control, auditing (checking of the organization) and information management (accounting and information systems). Both theory and practice are discussed.

After completing this specialization, you can:

internal accounting systems set up to help management in decision making such as pricing, manufacturing or buying products, and mergers and acquisitions
management control tools to design and implement strategies to assess effectiveness
