The MSc Quantitative Finance will provide you with an excellent academic and practical education to become an expert in financial methodology. It is your ideal starting point for a future career in today’s challenging and dynamic financial markets. The well-balanced curriculum builds strong quantitative skills combined with a solid knowledge base of the underlying theory of finance. Students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to use mathematical models to understand complex financial problems. A special focus lies in using the software 'R', an open-source implementation of the language S for data analysis and visualization. Students benefit from the expertise of the programs' faculty, which is strongly involved in the international development community of R.
The degree program has reached an exceptional 18th place in the QS World University Masters in Finance Ranking 2021.
Admission and Application
This year, the rolling admissions for our English-taught master’s programs open on September, 1st for the start in the following year. We have three priority deadlines, and we advise international students to apply as early as possible so that they can arrange their Visa and language tests.
Priority deadline I: October, 8th (Results are expected to be available by mid-December)
Priority deadline II: January, 8th (Results are expected to be available by the end of March)
Priority deadline III: March, 8th (Results are expected to be available by mid-June 2022)
