This unique Interdisciplinary Graduate Program spans three campuses of Texas A&M University and is hosted by the Department of Marine Biology at Texas A&M University at Galveston. The IDP offers a doctoral degree, a master’s thesis degree, and a non-thesis master’s degree. With a sweeping scope of programs, disciplines, and departments constituting the curriculum, graduates of the Marine Biology IDP will be well prepared to enter higher education, private or public industry, and much more.

We aim to push students interested in maritime business administration to the next level by giving them the skills necessary to tomorrow’s leaders in maritime industry. Completing the Master’s in Maritime Business Administration and Logistics places students in a prime position for successful leadership roles within the field of maritime business administration.

The Assurance Services/Information Management track examines business and accounting concepts from an assurance services professional's perspective. This track encourages students to develop technical, yet common sense answers to a variety of accounting situations.

The Graduate Program in Public Health has been fully accredited since 2002 by the national accrediting body, the Council for Education on Public Health (CEPH). The program also offers opportunities for students interested in pursuing dual degrees (MD/MPH and Ph.D./MPH) and a non-degree certificate.
