It was the first masters dedicated to training conference interpreters, both in consecutive and simultaneous techniques. Our excellence in teaching is recognised by international institutions famed for their stringent staff recruitment criteria. Many of our graduates are working as conference interpreters in the European Commission, the European Parliament and the United Nations, amongst other international organizations. The Masters receives pedagogical support from the European Commission (Directorate General for Interpretation – SCIC) and the European Parliament, who send staff interpreters to participate either as pedagogical assistance during the course or as members of the exam tribunal during our final exams. Other activities are also organised in collaboration with these institutions, such as visits to the European Commission and European Parliament, or a series of virtual classes. In these virtual classes that our students are able to receive direct feedback regarding their individual performance from interpreters who work for the European institutions. The EC also facilitates the movement of students via the bursaries offered by the Directorate General for Interpretation for those students possessing linguistic combinations that they consider important.
