The languages used are Portuguese and English. The purpose of this master programme is to train translators in Portuguese, English and another optional language (French or Spanish). International students are required to have a bachelor diploma and a proficiency level in both English (min. C1) and Portuguese (min B2). This B2 level can also be obtained through the previous attendance of a 1-year long Portuguese Language and Culture course or the 3-years bachelor programme in Portuguese Language and Portuguese Speaking Countries, both also offered by IPB. Profile of the programme The profile of the programme comprises the development of the technical-scientific knowledge and professional specialized skills in the study areas.
