The first head of the department was Vera Veniaminovna Baeva, candidate of cultural studies, associate professor, a specialist in the history of theatrical art. Over the years of its existence, a highly professional team has been formed at the department. The teachers of the department carry out fruitful creative activities and are members of the Union of Artists, the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, and the Trans-Baikal Branch of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. Alexander Nikolaevich Taranenko - Chairman of the Trans-Baikal branch of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. Their works are well known to art critics and visitors to exhibitions in many cities of Russia and northern China. -
