Objectives

The aim of the European Master in Sustainable Energy System Management is to provide postgraduate students with the skills required for employment in the Sustainable Energy industry. Students will specialise in business case analysis, modelling, project design and implementation. As a result of the foreign contact, the course requires, our students will have the international outlook essential to the industry HR needs.

By structuring the course in three sections, students are guaranteed to spend time in at least two different EU countries and make contact with a wide range of European institutes and companies involved in the sustainable energy sector. The participating universities are all well-established in training and the education sector as well as being recognised at an international level for their work in the field of sustainable energy system management.... Students who successfully complete this Master's course will be highly qualified professionals in the field of electrical energy and new transportation systems, and specialized in the study of power systems applied to renewable energies and hybrid and electrical transportation systems.

In order to meet this goal, this Erasmus Mundus master's programme has been designed in order to provide an advanced training and an integrated knowledge that will allow students to work in industrial or research activities in the energy sector. The Master in Integral Construction Management - Specialty Sustainability and Energy Efficiency It offers specialized in architectural and urban sustainable, environmentally friendly and integrates facilities energy efficiency systems design training.

Today, society demands a sustainable growth model in which respect the environment and the welfare of people is a fact. Public awareness and new legal frameworks such as the entry into force of the Technical Building Code (CTE), are necessary but not sufficient.

In this sense, a study conducted in 2012 by the Institute for Diversification and Saving of Energy states that this framework will generate numerous job quality. The aim of the master is to prepare professionals in the field of energy, environment and sustainable production with rigorous scientific and technical background, capable of providing a flexible and multidisciplinary response to the challenges of building a sustainable society through the conception, design, evaluation, implementation and management of environmentally friendly processes, consumption of natural resources and health.

The Masters is aimed at students with prior background in the field of engineering and architecture or in the field of Science: Graduates and Engineers in general, with a basic training in science and technology, to ensure adequate knowledge on the basis of which acquire advanced specialization in the technological application of environmental engineering and sustainable energy....
