The assessment of research Masters is almost always entirely by a single dissertation module or project.

Graduates of the Master in Spectroscopy degree have the ability to apply spectroscopy to a diversity of fields, though most of the programmes are specialized in chemistry. Students are taught the techniques of chemical analysis and characteristics of materials’ structure.
